A little about me:

Hi I'm Connor! Currently a fourth year student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Arts and Entertainment Technologies with an emphasis in game design. I'm mainly focused on gameplay programming and technical design, as I love to work with mechanics and how the game actually feels and plays. I am also currently the Community and Socials Director for the Electronic Game Developer's Society on campus. I work with other officers to plan events, host socials and work on making games!

Procedural generation has become a new favorite interest of mine, and I have been working on implementing different methods of proc gen into multiple of my most recent projects. Also worth noting, huge fan of analyzing existing game mechanics and systems (some favs: Outer Wilds' use of a timeloop to direct progression, Don't Starve Together's stat management, Terraria's crafting/bench system, and any roguelike/lite item stacking system). Making a lasting impact on a player is one of the main goals I have as a developer, and I think that's why I love designing and programming the core ways that players are interact with games.

Besides game dev, you've most likely realized I love my cat, Cheeto, a lot. If not then please look at the photos to the right he's adorable. All cats have my eternal love, and same goes if you like bouldering you're awesome. I recommend bouldering to anyone who's even remotely intrigued as it is highly addicting and a nice break for my melting retinas after a very long time in front of a monitor.
